We takes the health and duty of care for employees, customers, suppliers and visitors very seriously. That’s why, we have implemented extensive measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus or to minimize risks for all involved. Our motto is still not to react to the situation with panic, but with a sense of proportion and caution.
We also depend on your support for the effectiveness of the measures. This includes e.g. your understanding that we limit all business trips to an absolute minimum and instead expand communication by phone, email etc. Travel to defined risk areas according to the information from the Robert Koch Institute will not take place until revoked.
Furthermore, we ask that you only send those employees to us who, according to the current status and human judgment, are not at risk, i.e. No people who have previously been in private or business travel in high-risk areas or have had close contact with a confirmed or likely person with Covid-19 in the past 14 days and also have no symptoms such as fever or respiratory infection.
Of course, these rules also apply to our own employees. We have been and are constantly training them about preventive measures. In addition to information on the correct cough and sneeze labels as well as hygiene rules, among other things. Also organizational measures to avoid large crowds, the expansion of home offices and web conferences.
In addition, we keep in close contact with our upstream suppliers so that we can identify influences on the production chain at an early stage and take countermeasures. This includes, among other things, that we have certified alternative suppliers for all relevant preliminary articles and that we are already expanding our inventory where possible.
