August Dippmann founded the Sächsische Walzengravur GmbH on 02.06.1890. This is also commemorated in the new adventure museum in Frankenberg with its own SWG stand.
Transmissions and horse-drawn vehicles have of course disappeared from the company. What has remained is the inventive spirit of our company founder and the striving for the best service and excellent quality – made in Germany. What has also remained is the export to foreign countries. While our machines and embossing tools were in great demand as far away as Japan in the 1930s, we continue to deliver to distant countries all over the world.
