Konrad Hornschuch AG, meanwhile a part of Continental, sells its minority shareholding in Sächsische Walzengravur GmbH. SWG itself is acquiring the 8% share in the company which results in increasing of the amount of company possessed own shares. Both sides want to continue the successful cooperation in the field of surface design within the framework of a close two-way business relationship. This includes joint research projects as well as a firm supplier relationship, inter alia. Dr. Dirk Leiß (head of the business unit Surfaces) confirmed this with the words: “SWG’s performance and quality in the development and production of embossed structures is second to none. This is why we are very interested in continuing the good cooperation.” The sale will take place in the last quarter of 2021.
