The time has finally come: our own photovoltaik system is supplying the first electricity. 1.5 years have passed since the order was placed and we are still missing the final parts and the connection to the grid operator. But we have at least been able to test it. And…it works.
The PV system is expected to generate over 300,000 kWh/year to our electricity supply. We are therefore doubly looking forward to longer days and more sun again. This will enable us to generate around 15% of our annual electricity consumption ourselves. This protects the environment and keeps it liveable.
